Description
The CAAD12 is one of our all time favourite bikes and revolutionised aluminium road bikes, taking the material to new heights thanks to its incredible manufacturing process, producing incredible stiffness and ride quality at an insanely low weight, it’s the ideal choice for aspiring racers, fast club riders and anyone else looking for a seriously quick alternative to the run-of-the-mill carbon bikes of today.
Featuring SPEED-SAVE Micro-Suspension it delivers compliance and comfort and with redesigned seat stays and chain stays it has even more vertical deflection whilst remaining stiff laterally and torsionally. This provides the bike with greater rear wheel tracking on the road, improving acceleration, cornering, grip and ride comfort. Another feature is the SPEED SAVE BallisTec carbon fork, this one-piece, uncut carbon weighs in at just 290 grams and provides incredible increases in lateral stiffness and compliance.
Elite Race Geometry is the same used in the brilliant SuperSix EVO, keeping you in an aggressive riding position that maximises cornering potential, a key feature when compared to its alternatives. A Shimano Ultegra drivetrain performs smooth and reliable shifting mile after mile, this bike has also been subtly upgraded to feature Spokesman carbon wheelset for great low rolling resistance and speed.
Condition
The bike has some marks as expected from use to the frame and groupset which are shown in the pictures. The seat post has minimal marks which is to be expected when raising and lowering.
The wheels are unmarked and have minimal wear to the braking surface.
We have fully serviced the bike to ensure it is ready for immediate use by its new owner.
