The best of both worlds – Gravel or Road
Racing attitude and balanced competition geometries: both less extreme than Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR, the bikes used by the Astana Team professionals. We have redrawn the boundaries of the all-road segment that centres on versatility. The data gathered in the wind tunnel have shown a 5% reduction in aerodynamic resistance compared to our Wilier 0 SLR super light frame.

We weren’t searching for the perfect bike but for the perfect balance between performance and comfort and can be used on road or gravel.

Road Setup
The latest Shimano Ultegra 12-speed Di2 is paired with a carbon fibre 0-Bar integrated handlebar. This set-up features a set of fast Zipp 303’s paired with Vittoria Pro Corsa tyres.

Lightweight
The size M frame tips the scale below 1000g. The lamination combines the same carbon fibre fabrics used in making of Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR.

Handlebar and Integrated Cables
In addition to being lightweight, the 0-Bar monocoque handlebar houses the brake and controls cables, routing them inside the frame. The stem/handlebar combination features an essential design: sinuous and rounded lines that guarantee the best possible ergonomic grip. The Rave SLR encapsulates the elegance typical of Wilier high-end products.

Balanced Racing Geometries
To create a frame with balanced racing geometries, we started with top range road racing references and mixed them with frame specifications for endurance and gravel bikes: all without distorting the performance target that we set for ourselves at the start of the design phase. A slightly higher stack and a somewhat shorter reach compared to a pure competition bike, combined with the available carbon monocoque handlebars, become the perfect synthesis between high performance and comfort.
